The Cambridge and District
Friendly League was founded with football teams who played each other in friendlies
from time to time. The teams played each other more often and then structured
a fixture list, and the Friendly League was created. The matches are competitive
but the spirit of friendliness and enjoyment are to the forefront.
In the 2009-2010 season there are 14 teams divided into two Divisions. Each
team in a division play each other team in their division twice, and the teams
from the other division once, as part of their league fixtures. There are also
cup competitions to compete in. The teams in each Division in 2009-2010 are
